First timer

HELLO!
My son wanted an aquarium so we bought one.( 10 G.) Set it up last night. Getting fish today. I would like to go with active fish. My tank has bubbles on the sides.(Is this normal) Any and all info would be appreciated.

Is the tank cycled???? If it isnt then you should not get fish for about a month

Ok likeI said, I am a first time aquarium hobbyist. I am clueless! LOL The store sais run the filter for 24 hrs. and it will be ready for fish. I guess they are giving me misinformation? My guess is that cycling is the complete turnover of water? Elaborate please.

Cycling is complicated to me. Someone has a cycleing guide on here. Can you post it please
