Having lots of brown algae. Help

How long are your lights on a day? Is your tank by a window? Do you have anything is there to eat algae?

Lights on 10-12 hrs. Got a 12 inch common place and 4 fairly large Angel's Thanks

Lower it to 7 hours. Sounds like diatoms. It would be worth buying a few Nerite snails. They'll clean it up.
