Getting back into it

Hi everyone. I am getting ready to restart my 110 gallon tank. I am doing the research to see if I want to try a saltwater tank or just stary with the fresh water. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Well I'm a fresh water guy, just cheaper and easier to me. What did you have in the past? I like good ole south African cichlids, they are colorful, exotic and hardy fish. Also Its all about how much? How much money? And how much time?
