I am ebarrassed to say that I have been a member of this forum for over 2-years and I just tonight figured how to give and receive reputation points for "green squares."

sub ceroh, If you find a post that really helped you then you can add to that users' reputation by clicking the scale icon below their name. It looks like this:

You can enter a brief message like, "Thanks for the help!" or something similar. Once you give rep points to someone they will gain more green blocks. HTH!

How'd I manage getting even one block then?

You start off with one! Haha. You can check your rep, and view the comments they wrote, by clicking User CP at the top and it should be listed as Latest Reputation Received. HTH!
