So im new here and also to aquariums i have a 10 gallon that i recently got and i would like to know what kind of fish i can have and how many due to the limited space i have also would you recomend plants if so what kind. Its kind of difficult since i been to a couple of local of pet shops and seems they dont have much knowledge since they wont even know what is the adult size of some species.

The best thing, I'm my opinion for a 10 gallon would be a school of small tetras like neon tetras, or live breeders, like guppies or swordtails.

Thank u i was also looking at guppies too. Do you think its a good idea to get real plants?

Real plants

Real plant are always a good thing. They help convert more waist into less harmful substances. If you google low light aquarium plants you should be able to find plenty.
