Aquarium Advice Apprentice
Finally decided to register to the forum after lurking in the shadows for a while now and just reading. 
Not particularly new to the hobby I used to have 4 fresh and a salt water tank but have been out of the hobby for probably about 6 years. Just getting restarted after I bought my son (almost 2) a Betta and put it in a bowl. Well then my previous love for tanks came back and I got a small tank for the Betta and ditched the bowl. He loved the Betta so much I decided to get tank #2, a ten gallon, and now of course have a desire to get more and bigger tanks. (will have to wait till I move into a new place unfortunately). Basically I'm just here to soak in the information you all have to offer, and hopefully be able to offer some as well. I also look forward to just plain geeking out with you all
Here is my Betta tank (1.5 Gal I believe, may be 2 Gal)
Here is my Tiger Barb tank (10 Gal [yes I know it will be too small eventually, but that just gives me an excuse to buy a bigger one soon
