I haven't had an aquarium in over 30 yrs. So I am out of the loop and no-how when it comes to cycling. I have a koi pond that I've had for 13 yrs, That seems easier as there is more water and I can keep many plants and a bunch of things grow into the waterfall. This year I had some problems with it when they had a week long spawn. It develops ammonia
. That took me a few weeks to straighten out, but it more or less did it on it's own. While that was happening I was pulling plants out to tote for fertilization, unknowingly I pulled fry with one. Because of the ammonia in pond-I decided to bring them inside. Something I have never attempted. This is what brings me to this Forum. I posted in the Cold Water section hours ago, I am hoping my post will be approved for some much needed advice.
