I'm interested in fresh water fish and shrimp and looking into salt water (never had a salt tank)
Kinda new to using fourms,
But I have some questions I can't find the answer to on the net.

Feel free to ask questions. There are some knowledgeable people here who might be able to help

Saltwater aquariums aren't much different to freshwater. The main difference is the salt and lack of plants. You use the same aquarium, filters, heaters and lights for both types of tank. Get a hydrometer to measure salinity (salt level), and a marine test kit instead of freshwater test kit.
