hello!

Hey,
My name is julia. At the momment all i have as far as fishes go is my lil dinosaur eel aka bichir. He is only 3 inches long and living in my little 10 gallon tank. I plan to move him to my 20 gallon soon as it is done cycling. I think i might give him to a teacher at my school if he gets too big for it . Any who, i also ride horses. I have a horse named fleet she is an all balck thoroughbred whom i love dearly.

Welcome to AA your dinosaur eel aka bichir is really a Polpyterus senegalus.Polypterids are the sole survivors of the Order Polypteriformes whose distribution included Africa and South America and can be dated back at least 100 million years in the fossil record. They are among the most primitive of the ray-finned fishes (Actinopterygii) the dominant group of fishes today. -Anne

it should reach t0-12 inches adult size
