Hello and Thanks!

I haven't had fish since I was a kid, but my 5yo son has been begging for them so we dove in head first. A month in and we somehow managed to put two tanks together. Why two? My husband found a sale on a bigger tank and couldn't resist. I realized a few things instantly... I don't know a darn thing about keeping fish, I love the plants almost more than the fish, and this is a lot more fun than expected.

Thanks for all the advice already! I've been searching question and after question and coming up with great answers that have helped a ton.
