Hey welcome to AA You picked the right website to join! Everyone on here is super friendly and helpful I suggest you post a thread under the freshwater & brackish "getting started" section. Not everyone looks at the member introduction section, and you'll get people who specialize in freshwater to answer all your questions and concerns
+1 for Homedog, You definately want to look up fishless cycling, and the API master test kit is the kit most people on here use, its highly recommended
