Hello Everyone new fish tank owner here

Hi, I am from Utah. My wife got me a 50 gal for Christmas and I am slowly getting things together in it. It is going to be a community tank and currently has some neon tetras, dalmations. dwarf gouramis, neons, a common pleco (I know they grow big, but my son really wanted him) and a betta. Also has an assortment of live plants. I don't know the names of those.

Thank you guys for adding to this nice site/forum. I have been amazed at what I have learned from you guys already.

Yeah, that pleco is going to be an issue. You really need to return it, or plan for a much, much bigger aquarium. There are plenty of plecos that will live just fine in a 50g tank.
