Talking Hello folks!

Hi forum!

My name's Jen, I'm 42 and living in swinging London, UK

I've been seriously keeping fish for just 16 months now but it's really taken hold and I am definately suffering from MTS!

I have 7 tanks with another on the way so brace yourself for pics of them all....in ascending order

Modified biorb to accomodate sand substrate with green neon tetras and cherry red shrimps

Stock Biorb
cardinal tetra
diamond head neon tetra
amano shrimp
nerite snails

50L tank with 3 dwarf puffers, 1 oto

My main community tank
boesemani rainbowfish
rummynose tetra
lemon tetra
black neon tetra
albino bronze corys
platy
dwarf neon rainbowfish
black phantom tetra
hengels rasbora
amano shrimp
armoured filter shrimp
nerite snails

Modified 60L biorb
Neolamprologus multifasciatus shell dwelling cichlids

20L Arc Tank
female betta
golden zebra danios
ruby red nerite snail

145L Juwel Rekord brackish water tank
2 figure 8 puffers tetraodon biocellatus and a swarm of bumblebee gobies brachygobius doriae
My favourite tank with corners.

I am officially an MTS sufferer! I hope you like my tanks. I have lots of pics of the inhabitants if you'd like to see them...

Welcome! Very nice pictures and plants! I like the moss balls and the potato-like rocks in the next to last pic.

With 7 tanks and one on the way I am already struggling for space

Welcome to the site! Appears you have quite the handle on things. I'm very impressed with what you've done in that first bioorb.

Thanks for the warm welcomes!

Yes, one day I will have a nice marine tank! I've been gazing at various set ups for a loooooooooooong time, but thought it best to get a bit of experience under my belt before I tried SW. I've had a ball with the brackish tank. I love all my puffers and a tank for spotted puffs that would lead to marine eventually may well be the direction to go in!

Those Biorb really do look rather neat. Do you find them difficult to maintain with the shape?

Welcome to AA! You sound a lot like me, I started out with one betta fish and have 15 tanks now. It's been almost 4 years since I started keeping fish.

I own a classic Beetle and a campervan Both are totally hippy-fied and I love them to bits!

I find them really easy to maintain tbh. It can be a bit awkward getting things in and out at times and they are limiting with what you can stock in them, but when stocked correctly, and with a bit of imagination and dedication, they can be very rewarding tanks I have to say. I'dnot be without mine and one day I'll get a Biube Pure too as they look amazing

Yup - you got MTS - your prognosis doesn't look good - I fear you will soon be replacing vital furniture with more tanks. - Welcome to the best site around for fueling the MTS
