Hi everyone, My name is sophie i live in England, im 22 years old, recently moved into my own apartment and im really excited to start my aquarium project. Iv always wanted an aquarium and now i have my own place i can begin im obviously really new to all this and if you guys have any hints, tips and advice id really appreciate it. Id love a salt water aquarium but i know its best for me to start fresh water first currently doing a little research hope to hear from you all soon!

Head over to the getting started section and read up on how to cycle a tank. This is crucial to fish health in the long run.

What tank size are you considering? IMO a 20g would be perfect as it's not huge but also frees up some space for plenty of stocking options.
