Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hello.
I have been reading here for some time but figured it was time to sign up. I have just received a free tank that I'm trying to figure out what to do with. It's currently sitting with a couple snails that were giving with the tank and a partial water starter from the people who gave me the tank.
I'm just not too sure what to do with it. I believe it to be a 20g, but the measurements are messing with me. I just got a hood for it that measured 20" x 10" and has 1 fluorescent light in it. It has a Aquaclear 20 filter and I put a 100W heater in it. Aside from black gravel and a couple snails, I'm looking to turn it into a planted tank but am just not sure how to go about it.
Anyways, great forum and I look forward to my adventure in aquariums.
