Hi,
I am thinking seriously about starting my first tank. I live in San Francisco work part time and attend school part time. If anyone has a good recommendation for a supply store in the city I would be very grateful.

You're very lucky. You have Aqua Forest in SF.

There are several other stores as well.

Plus an awesome local club
SFAS.
