Hello, I'm new to this site (and the hobby)

I am a prospecting aquarium hobbist. I do not yet have an aquarium (or any fish) but I am doing as much research as possible before doing trying this hobby again. My first attempt five years ago ended very badly since it was a common newbie pitfall of buying the aquarium and the fish on the same day and not even thinking about cycling. Needless to say that in less than six months I had ALL of my fish die. Now I am looking to buy a new aquarium and start over right so I'm looking forward to participating in the forums in the future.

Patience is the tough part - read up and be prepared to wait - for the benefit of your finned friends.

Welcome!
