Hello everyone. I recently picked up a 10 gallon kit for my son and that quickly turned into picking up a 55 gallon and looking to eventually do a 75 gallon saltwater setup for my living room.
My son's 10 gallon is a simple setup with a few zebra danios, ghost shrimp, and plants.
My 55 gallon is just being setup and my plan is to turn it into a cichlid tank. I'm currently doing a fishless cycle with fish food. It has a sand substrate and flagstone rocks. No plants yet, but might do a few java ferns or something later on.
Years ago I had a 45 gallon tall tank that I had some angels in. After they died off I gave the tank away. So, I'm not completely new to keep an aquarium; however, there is still a lot for me to learn.
