My loach has been laying at the bottom of its tank for a week now. He barely moves around and has been breathing heavily. I noticed today after I moved him to a new tank by himself, that he has red dots on the side and bottom of his and it appears to be reddish.

Hi,

How is it going?

It has been awhile.... water changes and having near perfect water, safe with no ammonia, no Nitrites and low Nitrates under ~40.

So a series of water changes, would likely be in order.

Did you see any worms around the anal vent? In the bottom of the tank?
