help please black ghost knife

I bought a 3 in. Black ghost knife 2 days ago. When I got it I also bought frozen blood worms. But I noticed that he did not really eat them. Is there anyway to know if he got some or make sure that he does get food. Because a friend of mine had the same problem and sadly his died after a week of having it. He's currently in a 55 gal tank with a catfish and some tetras. Any help would be amazing right now

In my experience they are nocturnal hunters. Try adding some small ghost shrimp in the tank. They normally feed after lights are out

It also takes most fish a few days to adjust to a new home and feel comfortable enough to begin eating.

i had this problem i used live food with frozen food now it eats frozen foods they also like flakes too
