Welcome and first off, id start off with a smaller tank, if your a fish newbie. I started with a 37 gallon, and then went to 75, 2 years later.
Look for COMMUNITY fish, and ask to make sure the fish you want are community fish. If they are not, i wouldnt suggest getting that fish, unless you want only that kind of fish in your tank.
