hi everyone

Hi, new to the hobby but I always Loved marine life. I am looking forward to starting my first saltwater tank. I went to the local store to get a quote for setup. 2500 for 90 gallon setup with wet dry sup. Protein skim. Live sand.
Any advice?. I live in new York

Welcome to aquarium advice. That seems a little expensive.... I would try craigslist or another shop.

I tried other shops. One was low calling and did not list the proper equipment. The other was 500 more for the same. You think if I buy the items separately and have them put it together would becheaper

Actually now that I am thinking of it, it doesn't seem like a bad deal, there is a good amount of stuff. Does it come with a stand?

Yes. Stand and cover with 36in led lights. I'm debating if I should just go for.it or.not
