First of all I'm new to the site so im not too sure how to use it! My black moor goldfish has a cloudy eye and I'm not sure what's causing it. He has not been as active since it's happened 2 days ago. What could be causing this?
You likely have bad water quality which can cause cloudy eyes.
It could also be an injury if there is anything pointy or sticking out in the tank
I would recommend saving some water (a cup) before doing 2 pwc. to test /check on later.
Do a pwc and remember you might need double dosage for treating water if your water supplier uses chloramines. If they use it make sure your dechlorinator treats them.
If you do not have a test kit then -
Do a 30% pwc today and another in about 8 hours and then one more after another 8 hours. Temperature match the pwc water and treat it each time with dechlorinator (always of course ).
