I live in Ohio and currently have a 20 gallon tank with two Blind Cave Tetras- Dexter and Sonja-male and female, respectively. They reside with a Ramshorn snail but are otherwise alone. However, I have observed mating behavior several times before and would now love to have this wonderful couple produce some offspring that I could raise! The tank I have set up now has only been up for about a month or so, so it is not fully cycled but almost there! Right now I'm striving to keep out nitrite until this happens. Looking into building up to a whole school of these beautiful creatures but would like to try breeding this couple first since I know they are mates. Any advice would be awesome, as not theres not a whole lot of info on this particular species breeding habits!
