Salutations, all! I'm Sierra. I'm a noob. This is my very first post, so please be gentle. I've never had an aquarium before. i happened to come across an awesome deal that i couldn't pass up ($150 for everything i now own) and now i have an epic (for me) set up that i am pretty much lost on. I've had it for almost 2 weeks now, and have just been learning as i go, so if you have any (and i mean ANY) suggestions for me, puh-puh-puh-PLEASE don't hesitate and just tell me what's up.

Welcome to the site! I'm sure all the salties here will be able to help you get started. I'm saying salty because of your signature... Those mantis shrimp are pretty nasty critters. I've seen some videos on youtube of them chomping on emerald crabs. Welcome aboard!
