I need answers

Hows everybody doing? I have a freshwater tank with a pleco and blue lobster. Bought a Ruby Scat and blackfin shark and puffer. I have to add marine salt for the brackish fish and was wondering if this would harm my lobster and pleco.

From what I have read the Blue Lobster has been reported that freshwater salt greatly increases the health of the species. I won't post a link in case it is a competitor but you should be able to google search it.

As for Plecos, most of what I have read said it's ok for medicinal treatment, but not long term.

I don't know for sure, but I hope this helps some.

I'm not sure plecos can be in true brackish waters.

Plecos aren't Brackish.

Set up a separate tank or pick Fresh or Brackish.
Don't make your Freshwater fish ill.
