Intro: Someone looking to start hist first tank

Hi all,

Your online community comes highly recommended for learning about keeping fish, so I look forward to exploring your forums.

I have my first tank (Fluval Edge, 12 gallon) but no plants or fish - I'm still researching what I can safely put in this very pretty tank. I'll be using the forum to research stocking suggestions for plants and a freshwater community.

I love the look of translucent fish like glassfish and small shrimp like ghost shrimp/cherry shrimp, although I'm not sure glassfish are small enough to do well in my tank?

JP
