Hi everyone. Glad to find this site, hoping to learn the ropes of keeping a tank clean and fish alive and healthy. I'm Joan a wife, mother and grandmother of three. I started an old 10gal. tank for grandkids, thought it would be easier then a dog to care for. Roughly 5 months ago I got started the tank and lost one of each of the fish groups, about two days ago the pleco was belly up. All the others fish are doing well, or so it appears. I'm not sure if introducing a smaller alge eater was a problem, but the pleco seemed to only clean the rock and wood. Was it too much for a 10 gallon tank?
