Mew here need advice
I recently lost my first goldfish he was a red cap oranda. I got three new baby red caps. Right now they are small enough for a 10 gallon tank but I recently noticed red stripes on their tails at the base of it where it connects to the body and a few dots on the top fin for one of them. My first fish died of septicemia so I am familiar with treatments. I am going to test the water for high ammonium and nitrate levels. I am going to pit a heater in the tank to treat them and take the carbon out of the filter. People have said pimafix is good and I'm going to get some antibiotic food but does anyone know a good brand. How have any of you had luck in treating septicemia? I love my fishies! Their names are Taz, Mo and PJ. Any other tips any one has would be great. I haven't even been doing goldfish for a year but I am already in love with them. Please Help!!!!
