New 20 gallon

Hello, i started with a 20 gallon marineland kit. Penguin 150 biowheel. Started with 4 platies. Started in mid-feb. I use API titration test kit, and strips when in a hurry. Test almost every day. And I keep an ammonia monitor suctioned in the tank. I still haven't gotten my tank to cycle. I feed once/day. One fish died early on, never seemed to adjust. The other 3 were happy, playful, and eating. After 8 weeks, I added 3 more platies, for 6 total. However my favorite of the original fish died today, and that is why I am joining this community. I'll start a new thread with more details in a different forum.
