New cichlid tank 55g
Well I was actually given a free 55g tank with stand, canopy, lights & 2 aqueon 75 HOB's. I've sense purchased 50 lbs of pool filter sand . Some PVC for Under substrate jet system which will have 4 jets on a maxi jet 1209 with prefilter sponge. I also found in west palm beach local pickup of about 125 pounds of Texas holey rock. I will be placing egg rate on the bottom with the PVC jets . Let the cycle begin!!
Finally got it setup & running ph is at a solid 8.0 I'm liking this setup. Any input or critisism would be great
