I've had
FW tanks while I was growing up but nothing for years and years. Last year I decided to get back into fish and set up a
SW tank. I found a 30 gallon
SW kit at petco and a couple books and I was on my way. After replacing everything in the kit except the tank and making a few big mistakes, (plastic coated gravel substrate) and lots of fake decorations my Sister talked me into, I think I've got a pretty nice
SW tank. 2 Nemos, Engineer goby, Klein (sp) butterfly, blue Damsel and a couple snails. (there were more, these are the survivors
).
I'm currently setting up a 90 gallon
FOWLR with some coral eventually. It's all built and I'm adding water now. My
RO unit will only do about 20 gallons a day so it's going to be a few days before I can start cycling. This one is starting right though. Lots of
LR and sand no fake stuff and big.
