Hi! I am very interested in starting a salt water reef aquarium as a hobby and thought this would be a good place to get some ideas on how to go about it. I'm very new to this and any advice would be welcomed. Thnks!

Thanx. Right now I'm just in the planning stage. I debating between 50 or 60 gallon tanks. What would you recommend for a salt water tank? And are they really hard to keep up as people say?

The bigger you can house and afford, the better. By this time next year, you'll be hankering for a 125 or 180g tank.

Actually patience is the key to saltwater tanks (and with all other tanks but mainly SW!)Also cost is major.This is a good site you should check it out!
