Hi everyone i am very new to fishtanks.
I have 2 tanks 1 80Lt and 1 40Lt freshwater plants and fish.
Community tanks with mainly live breeders & plants.
Love the new hobby. Only one problem seam to have some algae growing now after running these tanks for about 8 months.
The algae is green on the glass and red/purple on the plants.
Can any one help?

Hello! Welcome to AA! We can do a better job helping you out if you answer a few questions:
How long do you keep the lights on in the tank?
What are your water conditions? (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, temperature)
What fish and plants do you keep in your tanks?
Is the algae in both tanks?
Do you use any chemicals like pH down?

Thanks for your advice i think i have been leaving the lights on to long
