Just coming on board. Had a 30-gallon tropical as a kid - 12th birthday present. Decades later, I realized that my folks wanted it, but didn't want the upkeep, so they "gifted" me with it. No matter, my fascination has continued some 50 years now. Despite several tanks in storage, I am pruned down to a 1-gallon bowl with only tropical plants, seed shrimp and worms. LOL (The Betta died two years ago, no food since - can't imagine what the worms are feeding on.)
