Just a quick “hi” from Eastern Pa! Getting back into the hobby again after taking a break for a few years. Small 10 gallon community tank, few snails, and also a tank for a few years with 3 fire belly toads. Glad to be here!

Ed

are the fire belly toads poisonous, or is the red colour just to make them look poisonous?

Colin, they are slightly toxic, I’ve never had any reaction from them, but if I’m messing with the tank or frogs, I always wash my hands good after being in the tank. No touching eyes or lips! Not like Dart Frogs. I got three of these. Rocks, Java moss, waterfall filter, easy to maintain, no heater needed and eat crickets, wax worms.
