Hey all! Been in the freshwater side of the hobby for a few years now. Had quite a few aquariums in that time, but had to downscale recently. I have a 7.5g high-tech planted tank, and I'm currently cycling a ~10g that I have big hopes for. Excited to be a part of the community. Thanks for reading.

Hi and welcome to the forum

If you have an established tank with a cycled filter you can take some of the filter media from that tank and use it in the new tank to speed up or even instant cycle the new tank.
