Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hello -
Joined to learn more about Cichlid care. I currently have a 100 gallon tank (72" long) that I am switching over to all Cichlids. I still have some tiger barbs, an upside catfish, bumblebee catfish & a plecostomus in there that may end up finding new homes. I started out adding 2 Yellow Labs about 4 months ago. I recently added 4 additional Yellow Labs, 5 Ps. acei, 2 Ps. demasoni, and 2 Melanochromis auratus. The auratus were purchased on advice from a pet store employee - now that I've checked them out online, I'm wondering if that was a mistake. I should have done better research before going cichlid happy in the store.
I am contemplating adding another 8-10 demasoni and would like to add other Cichlids as well. Can anyone tell me what could be compatible? Any advice on the current mix I have?
