New Red Claw Crab Keeper!

Hello, my grandson really wanted a red claw crab, so I did some research and got a tank out of the attic, set it all up and we have 2 crabs living their best life.. we have a pretty big tank-a nice sandy section, waterfall, and the beamish water. I would really like to introduce other things to the tank…would a hermit crab be a good tank mate? I understand guppies, mollies, etc are ok, but can’t find anything on hermit crabs? Thanks for your help!
