New To Aquariums and Have Rainbow Shark

Hi,

I'm new to having an aquarium. Already my 29 has lots of fish, including Mr. Rainbow Shark who I like to call rocket.

I have a question for Rainbow Shark experts: How do you get this crazy fish to eat? The other fish its obvious: you drop in flakes and they swim over and eat them, or you drop in a bottom feeder pellet and they root around and find them. This guy, spends a lot of time in his cave then comes our like a rocket, licks the windows (apparently they have a bit of algae), licks the plants, scares some of the tetras, zips around some more, licks the ornaments, then goes back in his cave. I've tried leaving algae wafers in his cave but I haven't seen him eat anything besides licking algae off everything.
