Hi.
Started with a 10 gallon tank about 14 months ago (starter tank for son although didn't realize 10 was not ideal for beginners). Despite the odds, have been very successful with a small freshwater setup, adding extra filtration to house about 15 small community type fish, danios, fancy guppies, tetras... Ghost fish and Chinese algae eater. About 14 fish total +1 blue snail. Basic boring (very boring) gravel/decor... For Christmas, we are upgrading to a 65 gallon glass tank and would like to convert to a more interesting live plant environment.
if anyone offer any help/advice on where to start, the appropriate substrate, plants etc...? Would love to hear from you. We have a fluval 306 external canister filter system and a high powered LED lighting strip.
Thank you
