New to the site and the fish

I have set up a 10 gallon tank, mainly because my 2 year old son LOVES to look at the fish at the store. So we have a 10 gallon tank. I have fallen in love with this hobby and have really gotten into it.
I hope this site will offer hints and ideas. Answers to questions and pics to look at. Just so excited.
First question I have is how many plants can I put in a ten gallon and still have fish?

For plants, there's really no limit (unless you put in so many your fish can't move - haha!) There's some limitations you'll have on what types of plants you can keep based on your setup, though. Different types of plants require different amounts of light, etc. Take a browse through our planted tank forum and there's tons of info there!
