New to this. Lighting help?

Hey everyone, I'm completely new to aquarium advice and relatively new to fish-keeping (roughly 5 months). I also have a question that hopefully someone can answer about lighting. I have seen many pictures of saltwater tanks with the blue lighting (I believe it is called moonlight), I really like the look of blue lighting and was wondering if getting blue lighting for a freshwater aquarium would be okay?

I don't see why not I have a light system that has clear lights and blue lights the blue lights are actually moon lights for night time and actually looks really cool I use the clear lights during the day and blue lights at night

As long as you're not trying to grow plants with it, it shouldn't be a problem.
