Hello. My name is Ashley. I have kept tanks for most of my life and right now I have a 40 gallon long freshwater aquarium that has only been set up for 3 months. I have 4 juvenile Angelfish (my fav), about 10 neon tetras, 2 fancy male guppies, and a small pleco. I have a combination of 3 live plants (ruffle plants) and fake plastic plants but I plan on getting rid of the plastic ones and having a 100% live planted tank as soon as funds will allow. The PH in the tank is good and the fish are thriving and the plants are growing even though I am new to planted tanks. I use Coralife Colormax 7,000K bulbs and but I haven't put in a plant growing substrate. I have been looking at liquid supplement products online such as Natural Aqaurium Vital to replace a C02 injector. Does anyone have any experience using these type of products? Will plants thrive with these types of products alone? Thanks for taking a look and I hope that everyone has a great day.
