Hello from the south. New on the forum and might as well be new to the hobby as the last time I dabbled in it was almost 20 years ago and things have changed dramatically. Reading, learning, and trying new things this time with a great deal more patience and understanding. Still will have questions I'm sure. Trying a planted tank for the first time...(insert hair pulling action here). Looking forward to learning even more and who knows, some day maybe even being able to offer someone some of my own knowledge through mistakes I may make.
A quick thank you for those of you that are as yet unaware that I will be picking your brain. You are much appreciated.

Haha it's good to have you! I have a planted tank as well (5 gallon snail and shrimp tank) So if you have any questions shoot away!
