No ammonia yet...

Been about five days on my new tank and I'm not seeing any rise in ammonia.....

What is your ammonia source? Are there fish in the tank?

It is a lot harder to get a clean feeling for the cycle in a planted tank. You should have ammonia with that bio-load in a 10g tank. So either the plants are absorbing enough of it that it is too low to read or your test kit isn't working.

Either way, the cycle should be proceeding.
