What is your water from the tap?

SW tank?

Yes I'm using well water from the tap.

I don't currently have a saltwater tank, however i used to run a 220gal "death tank" as it was known. Had various Lionfish, a stonefish, puffers, some eels, and a couple blue spot stingrays.

Sounds like you have experience with some big guys there in the SW.

Have you ever kept dwarf shrimp? You said you were looking for "something new for ideas." Dwarf shrimp are fun and interesting. Maybe too small for your interests?

What is the hardness and pH of the tap water?

I have a half dozen Amano Shrimp already, looking for some Fire Red Shrimp. Ph was around 7.3. Need to get a new test kit (ran out this last weekend), and pick up a hardness kit.
