Sand Blowing About
Just set up a vue 87 fishtank with tetra plant substrate and silver sand on top.
The silver sand blows everywhere due to filter outlet pressure. Have solved problem by attaching a transparent plastic plant tray underneath the outlet and this difusses the pressure along the surface of the tank water preventing it from going down into the tank and the sand stays where you want it! An easy solution to avoid the problem by deflecting or blocking downward pressure of water.
