Starting up my cichlid tanks now

After many years, this past Christmas I started a 47 gallon community tank. It is actually going well, so have now decided to start two 65 gallon cichlid tanks.

I have never had cichlids before, so I hope, I am starting off very slowly and carefully. The tanks are on the same wall so they are stocked, for now, identically. I have started with, and will stay with, African Malawi cichlids.

The fish have been in there for 3 weeks, and so far doing well.

Found this site mostly to read cichlid advice so I do not make as many mistakes as I could on my own. So I will be reading many many of the forum threads.

I think I did the upload correctly. The rocks and wood are different in the two tanks but the concepts are the same. we bought some of those cichlid condos also, which you can see some of in the picture.

I live in Houston and we actually have several very good stores. And we went to all of them until we found exactly what we wanted.
