Hi, I am new to AA. I am just about to set up my 65 gallon Tank. Right from the start here I am going to be hounding you all even though I am experienced but I have not had any tanks for a few years. Now if I could just get my husband to hook up my fluval I will be on the my way. I want to do sand instead of gravel where do I get it?

Welcome to Aquarium Advice!

If you're setting up a freshwater tank - I and a lot of members here have gotten pool filter sand. You can try a pool or spa supply store. I went to Pool City but I think that's a regional store, not nation-wide.

Thanks guys, My guy is just looking at the filter now it has been sitting for a few years out in the back shed. I will go to the freshwater fourm now....thanks for the welcome.
